NOW Zine

NOW is a collection of street photos documenting the sights and people of my home city of Toronto. The simple word, "now" embodies an eternal struggle to live in the present. In the age of social media and instant gratification we are often caught not living in the moment. NOW captures when I am most present; when I am alone with my camera. Shot in both Colour and Black & White, the transition between the two in this project reflects the changing mood of different seasons in the city. Spanning 2016 to 2017, NOW marks my introduction to photography as a legitimate form of self-documentation and self-expression.
